superb for connecting two buildings or high-speed Internet access without the high reoccurring costs of leased lines from
telephone companies.
The Wireless Access Point allows the connection from the wireless products on your network to the wired network. Simply
just plug the Access Point into any hub on your network.
The Wireless PCMCIA Card puts you on any network allowing you to roam with your notebook without having to plug into
Ethernet jacks.
The PCI Card Adapter allows any desktop computer to connect to the wireless network.
A wireless LAN can be an entire wireless Ethernet LAN, or an extension of an existing wired Ethernet LAN. The client
computer's NIC is simply connected to the radio modem, instead of the Ethernet hub - for a laptop this can be PMCIA Card. The
server computer simply connects to radio modem instead on the Ethernet hub, to complete the wireless Ethernet connection.
Clients can roam in the area of the server and communicate at up to 3 Mbps. For greater coverage, antennas can be added to
connect up to eight miles, or relay points established for even greater distances.
